About last week or so Caylee was watching me work on my blog and she asked me if she could have a blog too. I thought about it for a minute and decided that would be great idea. Caylee and Natalie are always drawing pictures and telling me stories. The pictures I intend to keep and the stories I intend to write down, but the road to procrastination is paved with good intention. I am hoping that this will be something we will do on a regular basis so that I will be able to document the progression of their creative minds.

So if you would like to know what goes on in the minds of my little girls, please come visit their blog.

I was actually a little disturbed to find out what Natalie thinks about. Her stories are filled with owies, people dying and monsters. She is absolutely fascinated by those things. I tried to re-tell the girls stories word for word, but I have to admit that I toned down Natalie's stories a tad. For the most part I left it in, but I was a little worried how it might come across.

What a great idea! We'll try to check it out. Don't worry too much about her imagination; when in school, James was told to draw a halloween picture, he drew a werewolf which was so realistic, the counselor called his parents in. lol
She just has a vivid imagination, and is giving a release to her fears. It is good actually that she is able to work through these things that bother her in this way.
In the meantime, concentrate on Philippians 4:8 with her, so she does not have more fodder.

Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.

What a great way to use that verse! I don't think that dying and owies are bad, but this verse challenges us to think about better things. I am going to use that. Thanks!
