In Between Diapers: 2007-07-29

Another one of Caylee's tricks.

After we went to the pool we all went to Braum's and had hamburgers and ice cream. Caylee and Natalie both shared a cup of strawberry ice cream, I shared my peanut butter cup with Macy, Mom also shared her ice cream with Macy and Asher shared his chocolate with Bethany. I don't feel too guilty if we just have one scoop and then share it. We had a wonderful lunch. Bethany was calm and did not make any of her normal ruckus. All of the other children are well behaved when we go out to eat but Bethany usually screams trys to grab anything around her. It has been because of her age but now she is getting older and we are expecting more out of her. It was nice to be able to just sit and visit with my parents.

This is the life!

Bethany loved the water. She was just walking all around by herself. Asher was holding his arms to catch her if she needed it but she wanted to do it herself. Even in the deep part where it was up around her neck. She still was walking by herself.

That is Caylee swimming in the water. She wanted to show me that she could swim under the waterfall.

We went swimming today at the pool at Midwest Regional park. We had a very nice time. My parents went with us so it was quite a bit easier to manage the children. Serenity wasn't having a great time but that was because I woke her up from her nap to play in the water. My older girls are getting more and more adventerous in the water. They LOVE to swim. I don't know how many times Caylee went down the water slide but it was a bunch. She was over there doing it by herself too. Mom asked Dad why he was not with her and he said that she did not need him. There was a lifeguard at the top and at the bottom and she likes to do things herself.

Here is our room. That Jacuzzi was a lot of fun. I really liked the bed too. I don't know what kind it was but that was when my hips were bothering me from sleeping on my bed, but they felt much better on this one.

Here is our breakfast from our stay at Willow Way. It really was a delightful meal. The first course consisted of a blend of fresh summer fruit topped with a dollap of cream. The main entree was frittered french toast, thick sliced bacon, and a baked potato sprinkled with Hungarian paprika.

Disclaimer: this is only Asher's game face. He really did not care that I won. That I crushed him, I destroyed him, that I absolutely stomped all over him. No, really.
