Well, we start school tomorrow! Wow. The summer has just flown by. Can't believe it is already that time of year. Although we are starting a few weeks early because I plan to take off a few extra during the school year. I am excited but nervous. This is really Caylee's third year in kindergarten. The last two times I did well until we had a baby and then homeschooling just disinigrated. Well, we did something, but it did not have the same structure and zeal that had been there previously.

This last week I attended Prep-to-Teach Week at Christian Heritage Academy. It was a bit hard, but I really enjoyed learning how to lesson plan. First we were shown how to make yearly overviews, and from there we made our two week daily lesson plans. When I got home I wanted to change some things so I went and ahead and transferred everything to the computer. I drew up a new table that fit what I wanted and copied it in. I know there will be more changes ahead and I think this will be the easiest way to do my planning.

Next I just have to clean off their desks. Right now there are some candles, minature lamps and other stuff on them which does not really go with the whole school theme.

Here is our lesson plan for the next two weeks. I have been trying to get my lesson plan as an link or attachment, but I am not that computer savvy and I am not willing to spend the time to figure out how to do it right now. So I just copied the info from Word. This will give you a basic idea of what we will be doing the next couple of weeks.
