Just a cute picture of Bethany. I love it when she opens her eyes that wide. I put her in the high chair the other day so she could be on our level, and she was looking like such a big girl. I just had to take a picture. I hate that her clothes look messy, but she still spits up a lot. I might even venture to say that she spits up more than my other children. It is between her and Caylee, but that was almost 6 years and 4 babies ago. Posted by Picasa
This was our little taste of fame. Or rather being close to fame. We walked down to Sunnylane to see the parade with our neighbors today and got the pleasant surprise of seeing some local politicans running for Senate. Our favorite was Del City's own Kevin Calvey. Not because he is from Del City, but because he is a really neat guy. Asher knows him from various things, and we have kept up with what he has been doing in the state senate. He has just recently authored a bill to get tax credits for homeschoolers. He has also recently authored a bill on informed consent for abortion and a bill for "Religous Release" time from schools. He is also a fan of small goverment. I didn't mean this to be a plug for Kevin Calvey, we just like him.

The girls got so much candy. They were able to grab more candy than they got at the last Easter and Halloween combined. Too bad Mommy and Daddy will have to eat it all for them. Candy is not good for children, you know.

Yesterday was Caylee's and Natalie's talent show. They did really great. I was so proud of them and so was Asher. Caylee danced to the song "Come" while Asher videotaped it and I took a few pictures. I was also on Macy patrol, so I did not get very many pictures. Macy was so wiggly. What she really wanted was to be up on stage preforming. She actually did get away from my mom while I was taking a picture and made her way up to the stage for what was going to be her official debut. Fortunatly I was able to grab her before she started to sing and dance, but not before she had reached the top of the stage. She had to be contented with singing and dancing while standing on my lap. Just wait a few years, little one. She is such a little diva.

Poor Natalie, this is the only picture I could get of her performing. She is the one all the way in the back on the left. The one with the pink headband. I could see her in real life, but my camera just couldn't get the same view.

The blonde girl wearing pink and black is Caylee's best friend at co-op. Her name Zoe, and those two are attatched at the hip. I rarely see one without the other. In this picture Spencer is somehow standing between them, but during all the rehearsals they stood right next to each other.

My baby is growing up!

Yesterday we had talent show dress rehearsal. It is going to be a really good talent show. Caylee is going to be preforming a dance with her class and singing several songs with them. I was watching her yesterday and just got totally overwhelmed by emotion. She is getting so big. She is not shy about getting up on stage at all. Of course she is with her class, but I asked if she wanted to perform something solo or with her sister next year and she was very enthusiastic about it.

It is so sweet to see the little kids that I have gotten to know go up on stage and perform. Caylee's best friend at co-op, Zoe, is going to be singing a song with her older brother and younger sister. The whole thing is so beautiful and really just made me want to cry. I hope I do better for the actual talent show.
I had my first real PMS day before yesterday. It was so wierd. I was grouchy and frustrated without having any reason at all. Asher asked me what was wrong and I honestly didn't know, but I was having a hard time not being very mean to him. I wasn't too pleasant to the girls either. Fortunately Asher took it all in stride and just tried to make me laugh. No easy task there. I don't really know what is going on. I am hoping it is just hormones fluctuating and not going to be part of my normal life. I feel awful because I was actually enjoying being mean to Asher. Is that how you guys during that time of the month? Does it feel good to make your husbands suffer? Or am I just unusually malicious.
